This album was not made to be listened to in front of a computer screen

Every so often I receive new music from new and old artists, friends, and family. Most of the time the email contains a short description of the music along with a download link.

But from time to time I receive emails that contain a message similar to the following (screenshot).

I cannot explain how much I appreciate it when musicians take pride in their work and understand how environment impacts the music listening experience. With the advent of digitization, compression, codecs, and music streaming services, etc., the sound quality and music listening experience seems to have been tossed to the side this last decade. 

Here’s to hoping that things will change and we start to receive more emails like these!
